SPEAKER INSTALLATION
1� The speaker should be installed where it can be heard clearly and sits rmly� Clean the
surface with alcohol and secure using double sided tape�
CONNECTION BOX INSTALLATION
1� Choose a rain, heat and moisture-protected installation location for the connection box�
2� Remove the temporary panels over this location� Clean the surface with alcohol and secure
using double sided tape�
TESTING AFTER INSTALLATION
WARNING: Never stand behind a moving vehicle - risk of death and/or personal injury.
Follow the instructions below to functionally test the parking sensor system�
1� Before testing, apply the parking brake, turn on the ignition without starting, depress the foot
brake pedal and engage reverse gear�
2� Ensure that the engine is not running while the test is performed�
3� Functional test the system with a piece of wood or another suitable object, about 60 x 30
cm� Allow a helper to rst hold the piece of board at least 1 m behind the vehicle�
4� Ask the helper to move the piece of wood closer to the vehicle and check that the buzzer and
distance indications function properly�
