Step 2
Remove UltraCote® where stack will be placed.
With an X-acto® knife, carefully cut and remove
the UltraCote® by cutting the line you traced in
the previous step.
You may need to iron the UltraCote® in this area
first for better results.
Step 3
It is best to remove the engine for this step and
leave it out until instructed to bolt it back into the
fuselage.
After the UltraCote® is removed from the area
where the stack is to be installed, removed the
wood to make an opening into which the stack will
be installed.
Using a Dremel® tool with a ½-inch sanding
drum, carefully sand everything out within the
area of the UltraCote® cut-out. If you did this
properly, you will have a hole the shape of the
shroud with a plywood floor in the bottom.
