The
chassis
and the
heat
sinkers
are not
connected
to
the gnd. For voltage
measurements
con-
nect
your probe - gnd
to
the
acquadag
socket
's gnd of the CRT.
Frame has been
planned
for
the minimum X rays emission (
issue
) therefore, it is
absolutely
ne-
cessary
not
to
modifie the high
tension
board.
The
monitor
contains
high voltage
sources
capable of producing lethal
quantities
of energy.
Therefore, for obvious
safety
reasons
, adopt
the
precautions
prescribed
for work on high voltage
equipment.
The
cathode
ray ray tube is a
high-vacuum
component
and,
because
of its
surface
area, it is
sub-
ject
to
high
pressure
. Obvious
precautions
must
therefore be taken
to
avoid
knocking
or
scratch-
ing the tube since
this
could lead
to
its implosion, with
resultant
danger
to
the
user
and/ or the
as-
sociated
circuits
. Personnel
engaged
in
installation should therefore
wear
safety
glasses
and
protective
clothing
against
bombardment by
splinters
.
Do not handle the tube by the
neck
.
In
order
to
prevent
risks
of fire and
electric
shock
do
not expose
the
monitor
to
rain
or
moisture.
