The My Happi air purifier, model KJ80, is designed to help you live healthy and breathe Happi by providing fresh, unpolluted air in your home. This compact and modern tabletop device is engineered to reduce a wide range of pollutants, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment.

Function Description

The My Happi air purifier utilizes a 5-layer filter technology to capture particles, gases, and unwanted odors, effectively cleaning rooms up to 150 square feet. The filtration system includes an Initial Effect Layer, a True HEPA H13 Layer, a High Efficiency Activated Carbon Layer, a Photocatalyst Layer, and a UV Bulb. The Initial Effect Layer intercepts larger particles like dust, hair, and dander. The True HEPA H13 Layer captures pollen, dust mites, and fiber through a fine mesh. The High Efficiency Activated Carbon Layer, made of honeycomb material, absorbs formaldehyde and other harmful substances. The Photocatalyst Layer, a superfine mesh, reduces toxic gases, nasty odors, and other pollutants. Finally, the built-in UV Bulb works in conjunction with the photocatalyst layer to minimize or reduce airborne bacteria, providing an added layer of protection by removing secondary pollutants from the air.

The device features a smart display screen that monitors air quality in real time, showing the PM2.5 level, which stands for Particulate Matter 2.5 (tiny particles ≤2.5 microns in width). The PM2.5 display allows you to see what's going on in your space and understand the air quality based on a 4-color LED indicator: white for excellent (<12 UG), blue for good (13-35 UG), yellow for fair (36-55 UG), and red for poor (>55 UG).

Usage Features

The My Happi air purifier is designed for ease of use with a streamlined 3-button control panel. These buttons control the fan speed, power, and UV light.

• Fan Control: The fan has three adjustable speeds and an automatic mode. Pressing the fan button cycles through Speed 1, Speed 2, Speed 3, and then Automatic mode. In automatic mode, the air purifier starts and automatically switches to PM2.5 display after 3 seconds. The screen will display "A" when in automatic mode.
• Power Control: The power button turns the device on and off. A white light indicates the device is on, and a pink light indicates it is off.
• UV Light Control: The UV light can be turned on or off. A white light indicates the UV is on, and no light indicates it is off.
• Sleep Mode: To enter sleep mode, hold the UV button for 3 seconds. The screen will display "S," the UV lamp will turn off, the motor will run in first gear, and the display will go out after 10 seconds. Touching any function key will exit sleep mode.
• Initial Clean-Up: When first turned on, the device performs an initial clean-up to adapt to your room's size and needs. During the first 24-48 hours of use, a noticeable smell from new materials may be present, which is normal and safe. After this period, the filters reach full effectiveness, and the smell should subside.
• Placement: For optimal performance, place the My Happi in a central location on a raised surface. At night, placing it close to your bed can create a clean, healthy sleep zone. Ensure the device is clear of walls and other furniture to avoid blocking airflow.
• Continuous Operation: For continuous fresh air, it is recommended to run the device on Auto Mode at all times. This mode is energy-efficient, using only 12 watts, equivalent to a small light bulb. If the device is turned off, it will perform an initial clean-up upon restart.

Maintenance Features

Maintaining the My Happi air purifier is straightforward, focusing primarily on filter care and replacement.

• Filter Maintenance: It is recommended to take out the filter every 1 to 2 months, depending on air quality. To clean the filter, use a blower (cold air) or a vacuum cleaner to remove absorbed dust and pollutants. After cleaning, place the filter under the sun for about 2 hours to maintain its best purifying effect.
• Filter Replacement: The filter service life varies based on the use environment. When purification efficiency decreases, the filter should be replaced as soon as possible to ensure optimal performance. A helpful filter replacement reminder ensures your space remains fresh.
  • Replacement Steps:
    1. Open the back compartment of the device.
    2. Remove the plastic bag around the handle of the old filter and pull it out.
    3. Take out the new filter pack and discard its plastic bag.
    4. Insert the new filter, then close the filter cartridge door.
    5. After starting the device, hold the [ON/OFF] + [UV] buttons simultaneously to reset the filter reminder.
• Device Cleaning: For stubborn dirt or dust, wipe the device with a soft cloth soaked in warm water. Avoid using volatile liquids, detergents, benzene, paint thinner, polishing powder, or other substances that could damage the device.
• UV Lamp Replacement: In case of UV lamp replacement, always disconnect power first. Replace the lamp with Lamp Model No. H3535AQ33E0Z03, manufactured by Shenzhen Hangbright Optoelectronic Co. ltd.
