Sometimes the road that calls is a winding city boulevard
and sometimes it’s a long, open highway. The Dyna
®
Switchback™ motorcycle answers to both. A combined
custom street cruiser and a competent touring bike,
the Switchback™ model gives riders two bikes in one
incredible lightweight package.
Versatility begins with its quick-detach windshield and
detachable, locking, hard saddlebags – throw them on
for highway comfort; take them off for boulevard style.
The Switchback™ motorcycle offers up additional
comfort for the long haul with full-length rider footboards,
refined ergonomics, and a one-piece, two-up seat with
custom stitching. For style you’d expect from a custom
cruiser, there are the Black 5-Spoke wheels, a mini ape-
hanger handlebar, chrome headlight nacelle, and a chrome
tank console.
But the Switchback™ model doesn’t stop there. Add in an
advanced suspension, standard Anti-lock Braking System,
and the huge 1690 cc Twin Cam 103™ engine, and the
result is a unique and powerful 2-in-1 motorcycle.

you maintain control during braking events, especially those that happen
in less than optimum conditions. Engineering and styling worked together
to make sure the system is not only designed and carefully tested to work
superbly, but that it is also engineered not to interfere with style. ABS is
standard on Switchback™ and Wide Glide
®
models, and is available as an
option on all other 2014 Dyna
®
models.
