Custom Modes Reset
A reset of the “Custom Modes” will clear the memory of any settings for the custom modes. This reset should be used
if changes have been made to the custom modes and you wish to have them returned to the original factory settings.
To reset those modes, proceed as follows:
1. Go to the “System Setup” status page menu by pressing “System Setup”. Press the button again to activate the
control system.
2. Using the “Г button, move the on screen “Γ pointer down the page so that it is next to the “Settings Reset” line.
(Figure #xx). Press “Select” to chose that option.
3. On the “Reset Settings” menu, the pointer will already be at the “Reset Custom Settings” line. Press “select” to
choose this option.
4. A warning message will appear (Figure #xx) to remind you that existing settings will be erased if you proceed to the
next step.
NOTE: Once the settings have been reset, it will be necessary to re-enter them manually if you want to return
to the settings that were in effect prior to the reset. To record the settings so that they may be easily recreated, use the
Mode Map sheets found in Appendix XX.
5. If you wish to proceed, press “Select”. To return to the previous menu without erasing the settings press “Cancel”.
6. Either action will return the display to the “Reset Settings” screen. Press the “Exit/OK” button twice to return to
normal operation.
Reset System Output Calibration Levels
When certain components, such as speakers or amplifiers are changed, it will be necessary to reset the system’s
output calibration levels. Before doing this, it may be convenient, although it is not required, that the existing system
settings be cleared. It may also be desirable to reset the output calibration levels if the unit is moved to a new location
so that they will start at nominal levels. If the old output levels are set too high for the new space, there system may
play at an undesirably loud system when first used in the new location. In order to erase the existing settings and
return to the factory presets, proceed as follows:
1. Go to the “System Setup” status page menu by pressing the “System Setup” button. Press the button again to
activate the control system.
2. Using the “Г button, move the on screen “Γ pointer down the page so that it is next to the “Settings Reset” line.
(Figure #xx). Press “Select” to chose that option.
3. On the “Reset Settings” menu, press the “Г button twice to move the “Γ pointer to the “Reset Calib Levels” line
(figure #xx). Press “select” to choose this option.
4. A warning message will appear (Figure #xx) to remind you that existing calibration level settings will be erased if you
proceed to the next step.
5. If you wish to proceed, press “Select”. To return to the previous menu without erasing the settings press “Cancel”.
6. Either action will return the display to the “Reset Settings” screen. Press the “Exit/OK” button twice to return to
normal operation.
