Why is there no sound from my Harman Kardon SOUNDSTICKS II Speaker System?

If there's no sound from your Harman Kardon SoundSticks II speaker system, here's what to check: First, ensure the power supply is properly connected to a live power source and to the subwoofer. A power LED should light up when the subwoofer is powered. Make sure the plug with the arrow symbol is facing UP when inserted into the subwoofer. Also, the volume might be too low or muted. Touch the volume “Up” (+) pad on the volume control satellite to unmute and/or increase the system volume. Note that touching both (+) and (–) volume control pads simultaneously mutes the system.
