3. i-vent System Applications
Standard
The standard i-vent system circulates dry
filtered air from the roof space into the
home. In automatic mode the i-vent
controller adjusts the fan speed based on
the roof space temperature, switching it
off if it gets too hot. Manual fan speed
control can be selected if required.
Outside Air Option
If the i-vent system has the Outside Air
option you may choose to draw in outside
air automatically when the roof space air
is too hot. This is ideal for summer. You
may also choose to operate the i-vent
controller in manual fan speed mode with
the outside air flowing continuously.

Normally the roof space temperature is
displayed. Room temperature can be
viewed if required.
Tap once to view the room temperature.
Tap twice to return to the home screen.
The i-vent controller is factory set for
optimum ventilation and comfort control.
There is an adjustment if required. The
adjustment changes the fan speed
temperature set points by up to + or –
5°C.
For example, if you are finding the
ventilation too cold then you can adjust
the setting from 0 to 5. Doing this will
reduce the fan speed at lower
temperatures and keep the fan running
faster at higher temperatures.
You can also make the home cooler by
adjusting the setting between -5 to 0.
0 is the default setting. -5 is the coolest
setting and 5 is the warmest setting.
Tap twice to access the adjustment.
Look for 2 in the top right corner of the
display.
Tap or to adjust the setting
between -5.0 and 5.0.
This adjustment alters the fan speed at
temperature extremes. The i-vent s ystem
cannot heat or cool the air drawn in from
the roof space or outdoors. Use the home
heating or air conditioning system to
control the temperature in the home.
The i-vent system filters the air before it
enters the home. You will receive a
reminder to change your filter every 12
months from Harrisons.
To maintain the i-vent system 10 year
warranty the filter must be replaced every
12 months.
