STARTING/STOPPING THE BLOWER (DC)

Slidepowerselectiondooroverpowerreceptacleuntilit
clicks into place.
Insert battery.
To start the blower, place the power switch in the ON ( l )
position.
To stop the blower, place the power switch in the OFF
( O ) position.

Removebatterypackfromtheblowerifinstalled.
Slidepowerselectiondooroverbatteryportuntilitclicks
into place.
Route an extension cord loop through the slot located
abovepowercordreceptacleandwrapthroughthecord
retainer.
NOTICE:
Always use cord retainer to properly attach extension
cord to the blower. Failure to use cord retainer may
resultindamagetotheblowerand/orextensioncord.
Attach the outlet end of an extension cord to the plug on
the rear of the the blower.
NOTE: Useonlyapprovedoutdoorextensioncords.

OPERATING THE BLOWER

To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer
edgesofadebrispile.Neverblowdirectlyintothecenter
of a pile.
To reduce sound levels, limit the number of pieces of
equipment used at any one time.
Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.
In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water
isavailable.
Conservewaterbyusingpowerblowersinsteadofhosesfor
many lawn and garden applications, including areas such
as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly
washed cars, and blow debris safely away.
After using blowers or other equipment, CLEAN UP!
Disposeofdebrisproperly.
WARNING:
Battery tools are always in operating condition. There-
fore, make sure the switch is in the OFF ( O ) position
when not in use or carrying at your side.
