OPERATION
WARNING:

Donotuseanyattachmentsoraccessoriesnotrecom-
mended by the manufacturer of this product. The use
of attachments or accessories not recommended can
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.
WARNING:
Verify that all guards and tubes are in place prior to use.
Iftheblowerisdropped,stopblowerandverifythat
no damage has occurred. If any guard, part, or tube
is damaged or missing, do not use blower until it has
beenrepairedorreplacedbyaqualifiedservicecenter.
Use of blower with damaged or missing guards, parts,
ortubescanresultinseriouspersonalinjuryorfurther
damage to the blower.
NOTICE:
Before each use, inspect the entire product for dam-
aged, missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts,
bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps
and do not operate this product until all missing or
damagedpartsarereplaced.Pleasecontactcustomer
serviceoranauthorizedservicecenterforassistance.
NOTICE:
This product is designed to be powered by either a
HART20Vbatterypack(DCmode)orbyelectricpower
(AC mode). The power mode is selected by sliding the
power selection door to the desired power source and
eitherinstallinganapprovedbatterypackorextension
cord as described in this manual.

You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
 Clearinghardsurfacessuchasdrivewaysandwalkways
 Keepingdecksanddrivewaysfreefromleavesandpine
needles
WARNING:
Alwaysremovethebatterypackordisconnectthetool
from the power supply and keep hands clear of the
power switch when carrying, transporting, assembling
parts,makingadjustments,cleaning, or whennotin
use.Followingtheseinstructionswillpreventacciden-
talstartingthatcouldcauseseriouspersonalinjury.
WARNING:
Make sure the latches on the battery pack snap in place
and the battery pack is fully seated and secure in the
blower battery port before beginning operation. Failure
to securely seat the battery pack could cause the bat-
terypacktofallout,resultinginseriouspersonalinjury.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 3.
 Slidepowerselectiondooroverpowerreceptacleuntilit
clicks into place.
 Insert the battery pack into the product as shown.
 Make sure the latch snaps into place and the battery pack
is secured before beginning operation.
 Depressthelatchtoreleaseandremovethebatterypack.
