Stayalert– Watch what youaredoing. Use common
sense.Donotoperatethisunitwhenyouaretired,ill,
upset, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or med-
ication.
Donotoperateinpoorlighting.
Keepallpartsofyourbodyawayfromanymovingpart.

Disconnect trimmer – Disconnect battery pack from the
appliancebeforestoring,servicing,orchangingaccesso-
riessuchascuttingline.Suchpreventivesafetymeasures
reducetheriskofstartingthetoolaccidentally.
Useonlyidenticalmanufacturer’sreplacementpartsand
accessories.Useofanyotherpartsmaycreateahazard

Maintain appliance with care – Replace string head if
cracked,chipped,ordamagedinanyway.Besurethe
stringheadisproperlyinstalledandsecurelyfastened.
Failuretodosocancauseseriousinjury.Followinstruc-
tions for lubrication and changing accessories. Keep
handlesdry,clean,andfreefromgreaseandoil.
 CheckDamagedParts–Beforefurtheruseoftheap-
pliance, a guard or other part that is damaged should
be carefully checked to determine that it will operate
properlyandperformitsfunction.Checkforalignment
ofmovingparts,bindingofmovingparts,breakageof
parts, mounting and any other condition that may effect
its operation. A guard or other part that is damaged
shouldbeproperlyrepairedorreplacedbyanauthorized
servicecenterunlessindicatedelsewhereinthismanual.
Keephandsandfeetawayfromcuttingarea.
Make sure all guards, straps, deflectors and handles are
properlyandsecurelyattached.
Useonlythemanufacturer’sreplacementstringinthe
cuttinghead.Donotuseanyothercuttingattachment,
forexample,metalwire,rope,orthelike.Toinstallany
other brand of cutting head to this string trimmer can
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.
Neveroperateunitwithoutthegrassdeflectorinplace
andingoodcondition.
