7 | Cleaning and care
7.1 | Cleaning
Use a soft cloth and a little mild cleaning agent to clean the
housing. Harsh solvents, such as thinner or petroleum ether, must
not be used, nor must scouring agents or sharp tools, as these will
damage the surface. Do not under any circumstances clean with

In the event that the Hartmann Alarm Brake Disc Lock
is not going to be used again, every consumer is legally
obliged to take old devices to an appropriate collection
point to dispose of them separately from household
waste. This ensures that old devices are recycled
professionally and negative effects on the environment
are prevented. For this reason, electrical devices are
marked with the symbol shown here.
