Function Description:

The Ugly Dolls device is an interactive toy designed to engage users with talking, singing, and dancing. It features multiple modes of operation, including Party Mode, Reporter Mode, and Heart Mode, each offering a unique interactive experience. The device is designed to be responsive to user interaction, such as pressing buttons and waving a hand over its head. Important Technical Specifications:

Power Source: The device requires 4x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries for operation. Demo batteries are included but should be replaced with alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
Battery Replacement: A Phillips/cross head screwdriver (not included) is required to replace the batteries.

Usage Features:

Mode Switching:
- Phrase Switching: Pressing the button once switches between phrases within the current mode.
- Waking Up: Pressing the heart button wakes Moxy (the device) up.
- Party Mode (Mode 1): Upon waking, Moxy enters Party Mode, where she talks, sings, and dances. Waving a hand over her head will make her move and sing more.
- Reporter Mode (Mode 2): To enter Reporter Mode, press and hold the heart button for 1.5 seconds. In this mode, Moxy will ask questions.
- Heart Mode (Mode 3): To enter Heart Mode, press and hold the heart button for 1.5 seconds again. In this mode, Moxy will say words of encouragement.
Sleep Mode: After approximately 30 seconds of inactivity, Moxy will go into sleep mode.
Interaction: The device responds to button presses and hand gestures (waving over its head).

Maintenance Features:

Battery Replacement:
- Always follow instructions carefully when replacing batteries.
- Use only specified batteries (4x 1.5V AA alkaline).
- Ensure correct insertion by matching the + and - polarity markings.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.
- Remove exhausted or dead batteries promptly.

- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
Rechargeable Batteries:
- Do not mix rechargeable batteries with other types.
- Always remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
- Recharge batteries under adult supervision.
- Do NOT recharge other types of batteries.
Interference Resolution: If the product causes or is affected by local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment. Resetting the device (switching off and back on, or removing and re-inserting batteries) may also resolve the issue.
