the camera
back
release
catch
as
in the illustration
and
push upwards.
The camera
backwill
now be
released.

that it rests on the
take-up
spool. Ensure the
film
is laying down flat against
the shutter
housing and the
cassette
opening
is pulled down accordingly.

tip
back and
away
from the
index position. Carefully close
the camera back.
Press
the left
part
of the back
towards the
main camera
bodv

hear
a
clickto ensure
it is locked.
The film
is automatically
withdrawn
completely
from the cas-
sette, set
at the first frame
and the camera
power turned
off.
lf a non-DX
film has been
loaded while the
ISO
selec-
tor
was set at
DX
then
it will
not
be
wound
forward
and
the camera
will not operate,Turn
the shooting
mode selector to'OFF'
and
manually set the
ISO dial.

With
the shooting
mode
selector set at'0FF',
insert a 35
mm film
cassette
into the
film compartment as
in
the
il-
lustration.
Note which
way
round the cassette
is insert-
ed.
Tilt the
'top'
of the cassette
a little at first so
that
the cassette
is seated securely
in
the
compartment.
Pull
While
the film
is being withdrawn, the
M/d will show
the
film speed
while the EC/d will count
down the ex-
posures.
When the
film has
been
completelywithdrawn
from
the
cassette,
both
LCD's will go off. 0n
