⚠ Warning
The fully automatic parking system is meant to assist the driver. It cannot replace the driver’s
judgement of the conditions outside the vehicle. When parking, continuously pay attention to your
surroundings and the warning messages from the parking system. To ensure safety, take control
over the vehicle and other necessary measures when unusual situations occur.
How to use
1. In the AVM interface, tap the automatic parking button【Parking Assist】to activate the fully
automatic parking system. With the system activated, you can park simply by following the
prompts on the multimedia display.
⚠ Caution
To ensure safe parking, the driver needs to monitor the vehicle's surroundings at all times and
immediately take control of the vehicle if there is a risk of a collision.
Notice
You can select to leave a parking space only when the vehicle is stationary.
When looking for a parking space, make sure there is sufficient space (around 0.5-1.5 m) between
you and adjacent vehicles or obstructions, if not, the system may not detect the parking space.
Precautions
During automatic parking process, the following conditions will interrupt automatic parking. When
the interruption ends, the process will continue.
Opening a door (including the tailgate).
Fold the outside rearview mirror.
Unfastening the driver’s seat belt.
If there is an obstruction in the approach to the parking space.
Interfering with the accelerator pedal.
During automatic parking process, the following may cause the vehicle to exit automatic parking .
If when looking for a parking space the vehicle speed is over 30 km/h.
Interfering with the gear, the steering wheel, or the parking brake.
If a time-out occurs due to interruption, if the interruption is too long, if the parking maneuver is
too slow, or if the total parking time is too long.
Touching the automatic parking button.
When exiting a parking space, the system determines that the vehicle cannot exit in any direction
or determines that the path is clear and therefore there is no need to use the automatic parking
function.
If the vehicle is on a steep incline.
