Automatic vehicle hold (AVH)
D3465B3CD921
When the vehicle is on a slope and encounters a
red light or is driving in stop and go traffic,
automatic vehicle hold (AVH) frees the driver
from having to keep their foot on the brake pedal
for long periods or repeatedly apply the electric
parking brake. This enhances the comfort of the
driver, and can also reduce the risk of the vehicle
rolling back.
After closing the driver's door, fastening the
driver’s seat belt, and starting the vehicle, press
the AVH button to turn the automatic vehicle hold
function on or off.
How to use
1. Turn on the automatic vehicle hold (AVH)
function. At this point, the automatic vehicle
hold function is in the ready state, and the
automatic vehicle hold light on the instrument
panel is yellow.
2. Stop the vehicle by pressing the brake pedal,
and the vehicle will automatically apply the
parking brake. Now, the automatic vehicle hold
3. function is operational, and the automatic
vehicle hold light on the instrument panel
is green.
When in D gear or R gear, press the
accelerator pedal and the parking brake will
release automatically.
If the accelerator pedal is not pressed for a
long time, the automatic vehicle hold
function will turn off, and the electric parking
brake will be automatically applied.
The following conditions will force the
automatic vehicle hold function to be exited:
Releasing the driver’s seat belt.
Opening the driver’s door.
Switching the vehicle power switch to
LOCK mode.
AVH has been in operation for more than
3 minutes.
Caution
When in an automatic car wash or being
towed, please turn off the automatic vehicle
hold function. You can directly start the wash
trailer mode through the multimedia display.

Automatic departure function
When the parking brake is applied, and the
driver fastens their seat belt and presses on
the accelerator pedal, the system will detect
the driver’s intention to depart and
automatically release the parking brake.
On a slope, to prevent the vehicle rolling
back, greater traction is required to achieve
this.
