Introduction to gear position
Park gear (P)
The P gear is used to assist parking the vehicle.
When the P gear is engaged, the transmission
is mechanically locked to pre-vent the vehicle
from sliding.
Notice
In case of abnormal power failure of the
vehicle, the gear P will require self-learning
after the vehicle is powered on again.
At this time, the system will perform self-
learning automatically after the brake pedal is
stepped on or the EPB is pulled up.
Reverse (R) gear
Reverse is used to reverse.
Neutral (N) gear
The N gear is an unpowered gear, and the
transmission system is in a state of not
transmitting power when this gear is engaged.
It is used when starting or stopping the vehicle.
Warning
When temporarily stopping the vehicle in N
gear, please be sure to apply the parking
brake or press the brake pedal, otherwise
the vehicle might roll off and result in an
accident.
Do not coast in N gear, as it could result in
an accident.
Automatic mode (D)
When driving normally, use Drive.
When the D gear is engaged, the transmission
can automatically adjust till the appropriate
gear is reached based on the vehicle speed and
the required acceleration, to achieve the best
economy.
Changing gear
Once the vehicle starts, you should always
press on the brake pedal; Otherwise the vehicle
will move if the driving gear has been engaged.
Warning
In order to avoid the damage to the vehicle or
accidents, the vehicle must be completely
stopped before the gear is engaged.
Notice
When the vehicle speed is lower than 2 km/h,
the driver's seat belt is unbuckled and the
driver's door is opened, the vehicle
automatically switches to P gear.
After the vehicle is turned off, it will
automatically switch to P gear.
If you don't want to change automatically
switched to P gear after switching off the
vehicle, you should change the gear position
to N, then pressing and holding the EPB
switch, after that switch the power switch to
LOCK mode.
Notice
When the shift is completed, make sure that the
correct gear is engaged.
