IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
2. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
4. The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is
damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
5. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces
which come in contact with food or oil, please refer to
the paragraph “CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE” of the
manual.
6. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working environments; farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
7. After unplugging, the heating element will remain hot
and should not be touched or placed on combustible
surfaces.
8. Do not operate the appliance if the cord has been
damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or is
damaged in any way. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
9. Any use of accessory attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer may cause hazards.
10. Do not use outdoors.
11. Do not let cord dangle or hang over the edge of table or
counter tops, or allow it to touch hot surfaces.
