nut

connector
and
turn
the
nut
until
it
is
tight.
Solder
the
resistor
to
the
shield
wires
and
cut off
the
excess
tead
lengths.

heat

match

shrink

the
knob
bushings
before
you
perform
the
following
steps.
Notice
that
the
triangular
hole
is
targer
at
one
end
of
the
bushing
than
the
other.
Always
start
at
the
end
of
the
bushing
with
the
larger
hole
onto
the
switch
shaft,

mark

the

PLACE THE KNOB ON A TABLE OR
OTHER FIRM SURFACE. PLACE A
SOFT CLOTH UNDER THE KNOB TO
PREVENT
IT
FROM
BEING
MARRED.
THEN
USE
A
NUTDRIVER
OR
A
LARGE
SCREWDRIVER
AND
DRIVE
THE
BUSHING
INTO
THE
KNOB,

Line
up
the
pointer
with
the
GND
mark
on
the
front
panel.
Install
a
red
binding
post
cap
on
the
binding
post
at
AC.
Install
a
black
binding
post
cap
on
the
binding
post
at
AD.
Carefully
peel
the
backing
paper
from
the
blue
and
white
identification
label.
Then
press
the
label
onto
the
outside
of
the
rear
panel
as
shown
in
the
inset
drawing,
NOTE:
The
biue
and
white
identification
label
shows
the
model
number
and
production
series
number
of
your
kit.

numbers
in
any
communications
with
the
Heath
Company;
this
assures
you
that
you
will
receive
the

complete
