Why is my hecht 6280 XL Paper Shredder engine not running?

If the Hecht Paper Shredder's engine isn't running, there might be several reasons: * The collection box might be poorly connected. Try pushing it in again and ensure the safety switch lever is in the "ON" position. * The main switch could be in the wrong position. Adjust it to either the "inserting" or "reverse" position. * There might be no voltage from the mains. Check the electrical outlet. * The lead cable could be damaged. Inspect or replace the cable.
