Why can't the Heinner Coffee Maker steam froth?

The Heinner Coffee Maker steam may not froth because the steam ready indicator (green indicator) is not illuminated. Steam can only be used to froth after the steam ready indicator (green indicator) illuminates. Also, the container might be too big or not the right shape; use a high and narrow cup. Lastly, skimmed milk may prevent frothing; use whole milk or half-skimmed milk instead.
