III. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Thefollowingbasicprecautionsshouldalwaysbefollowedwhenusingelectrical
appliance:
1.Readallinstructionsbeforeusing.
2.Makesurethevoltageinyourlivingareacorrespondingtotheoneshownon
theratinglabeloftheappliance.Andthewallsocketisproperlygrounded.
3.Toreducetherisk
offireintheovencavity:
a.Donotovercookthefood.
b.Removewiretwist‐tiesfrom paperorplastic bags beforeplacing bagsinthe
oven.
c. Do not heat oil or fat for deep drying as the temperature of oil cannot be
controlled.
d.Afterusewipe
thewaveguidecoverwithadampcloth,f ollowedbydryclothto
removeanyfoodsplashesandgrease.Built‐upgreasemayoverheatandbeginto
causesmokeorcatchfire.
e.Ifmaterialsinside theovenshouldsmokeorignite,keepovendoorclosed,turn
ovenoffanddisconnectthe
powersupply.
f.Whenheatingfoodinplasticorpapercontainers,keepaneyeontheovendue
tothepossibilityofignition.
4.Toreducetheriskofexplosionandsuddenboiling:
a. WARNING: Liquids and other foods must not be heated in sealed container
sincetheyareliable
toexplode;Babybottlesfittedwithascrewcaporteatare
consideredtobesealedcontainers.
b.Usethewide‐mouthedcontainertocookliquid,andthecookedliquidshould
not be removed out immediately. Several moments should be waited before
removing.Inordertoavoidpossiblehazardscausedby
delayederuptiveboilingof
liquids.
c. Potatoes, sausage and chestnut should be peeled or pierced before cooking.
Eggs in their shell, whole hard‐boiled eggs should not be heatedin microwave
ovenssincetheymayexplode,evenaftermicrowaveheatinghasended.
d.Thecontentsoffeedingbottlesandbaby
foodja rsaretobestirredorshaken
and the temperature is to be checked before consumption, in order to avoid
burns.
5.Ifthesupplycordis damaged,itmustbereplacedbythemanufacturerorits
serviceagentoraqualifiedtechnicianinordertoavoidashockhazard.
