- Shaking Ingredients: Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the cooking time. This is done by removing the pan from the appliance using its handle, shaking the ingredients, and then reinserting the pan.
- Cooking Completion: An audible signal indicates when the set cooking time has elapsed.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as the appliance not working (check power connection, timer setting), insufficient or uneven cooking (adjust quantity, temperature, time, shake ingredients), non-crispy snacks (use oven-ready snacks, add oil), pan not fitting correctly (push until it locks), white smoke (due to high-fat ingredients or residual grease), and unevenly cooked fresh potatoes (use fresh potatoes, rinse well, add oil).
- Cooking Table: A detailed table provides recommended minimum-maximum amounts, cooking times, temperatures, and whether shaking is required for various food types including potatoes & fries, meat & poultry, snacks, and baked goods. Examples include thin frozen fries (500-1000g, 18-26 min, 200°C, shake), steak (100-400g, 10-15 min, 180°C), spring rolls (100-350g, 8-10 min, 200°C, shake, use oven-ready), and cake (250g, 8-15 min, 180°C, use baking tin).
- Tips: Smaller ingredients cook faster. Larger quantities require longer cooking times. Shaking small ingredients improves crispiness. For crispy fresh potatoes, add a little oil. Oven-ready snacks can be cooked in the air fryer. Optimal quantity for crispy fries is 500g. Use store-bought dough for quick snacks. Use an oven-safe dish in the basket for baking or fragile ingredients. The appliance can also reheat ingredients at 150°C for up to 10 minutes.
