5. Instrument installation and connection
(1) Instrument installation
a) This instrument is installed on the steering column of the steering wheel. Consumer
should weld an installation iron plate in advance. The installation hole distance and
diameter see assembly structure drawing. When install, take down the four rear cover bolts
on shell, and take out the rear cover.
b) Aim the fixed screw hole with installation hole of iron plate, and tighten them
with M6 screw .
c) Fix the case rear cover on case with screw.
d) Plug four instrument plugs with sockets of wiring tightly, and lock it.( refer to
the second part of the chapter for detail.)
(2) Instrument connection
The connection of the CPYD-012/001 instrument
a) Apply a set of plug and socket DJ7061-4.2-10（20）between the main plate and meter
control box. That is to say insert the six-pin plug on the meter control box into the six-
pin socket on the main plate.
b) Harness of the meter assembly
Instrument assembly and vehicle body wiring have four wiring socket together, that is
DJ7121-6.3-20, DJ7011-6.3-20, DJ7081-6.3-20 and DJ7041-6.3-20. The corresponding lines are
connected with instrument main board, instrument control box, key switch and light switch
respectively.
