d. Prize the difference speed case shell with special crowbar without damaging.
e. Take out the difference speed case assembly from the wheel. Notice that the regulating
gasket and bearing outer ring should be put with bearing in pairs.
Installation of the difference speed case:
a. Fix the oil cover protector after lubricating semi-axis oil cover hole, then put in the oil
cover without distortion.
b. Install the difference speed case assembly after lubricating the parts with gear oil. The
tooth side clearance of planet and semi gear is 0.1-0.2mm. Or the clearance of semi gear gasket
and difference speed case shell is 0.15-0.45mm.
c. Put two guiding bolt in the driven gear screw to make driven screw aim at difference speed
case flange hole. Then fix the driven gear on difference speed case tightly.
d. Tighten every bolt alternately and uniformly with torque 70-100Nm when fixing the driven
gear bolt.
e. Do not energize to bearing when installing the difference speed case bearing to prevent the
damage of bearing.
f. Put the difference speed case assembly, bearing outer ring and regulating washer into wheel.
Hammer the bearing outer ring with copper hammer to force the bearing to its position.
g. Install the difference speed case bearing base top cover. Tighten the bolt with torque 100-
136Nm.
h. Inspect the driven gear contact marker, tooth side clearance and driven gear bearing pre-
tighten force.
After inspecting, clean the wheel end surface, paste seal glue or fix rubber cushion. Then
tighten the wheel cover bolt with the torque 35-50Nm. Add lubrication oil 1.8L, and tighten.
After driving 6000km, inspect the oil level of wheel. Add oil if it is lower than adding
aperture bottom line 10mm.
Replace the hyperbola gear oil of wheel every driving 50000km (30000km for first time) as
following:
