Park the tractor, dismantle the oil plug, and remove the wheel cover to let out lubrication
oil. Wash the difference speed case and inner shell with cleanser to remove remnant
lubrication oil and other impurity. Do not wash with water, steam, kerosene or gasoline.
Remove the remnant seal glue of contact surface and clean it. Paste a circuit seal glue
along the inner screw of connect surface, then put on the cover, tighten the bolts with
torque 35-50Nm. Add 1.8L hyperbola gear oil (Great wall advanced lubricating oil API GL-5
80W/90) into oil aperture, then tighten the screw.
B. Hub bearing
Too tight or too loose hub bearing will damage, so must regulate the bearing pre-tightness
correctly. After running 12000km, clean the hub bearing, replace lubrication oil and
regulate the bearing pre-tightness. Regulating is following:
a. Jack the front or rear wheel to make the tire away from the ground.
b. Dismantle the lock nut and hub flange of front wheel and lock nut and semi-axis of rear
wheel.
c. Dismantle the lock of front and rear wheel.
d. Loosen regulating nut (front and rear wheel) about 1/5 circle to make the wheel rotate
freely. Find and remove the trouble before adjusting (hoof and brake drum friction).
e. Tighten the regulating nut by spanner with torque 200Nm.
f. Rotate back the regulating nut 1/6-1/4 circle accurately, then fix the lock.
g. Fix the semi-axis and hub flange, then tighten regulating nut.
h. After driving 10km, touch the hub. If it is hot, inspect the regulation and adjust again.
But there is a little bit hot after replacing the bearing or oil cover.
