3. Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting
A. Indication
a. When measure the motor cool insulation resistance, the value should approach the
one that product certification states. The permitted min. insulation resistance
is:
Motor (less than 45V)-0.5
Motor (45V-110V)-1
b. Inspect the armature rotate agilely.
c. Inspect whether the connection of motor and out-lead is correct and reliable.
d. Inspect whether the brush can slide agilely in brush box. Brush contacting area
should not less than 80%.
e. When necessary, clean the commutator with soft and non-flossy clean white cloth.
Dip some liquor if there is grease on surface (first stop the tractor).
f. Inspect all tight parts.
g. The cover, brush shelf must be tight and reliable. If rotate or dismantle the
brush shelf, should mark it before loosening the bolt. When re-install it, must
tighten the bolt and keep it on original neutral position.
B. Indication when starting
Starting without load is not permitted, that is starting when dismantling the motor.
C. Indication when running
a. Cooling gas cannot include volatile gas.
