(3)Remove the mounting bolts on
the transmission case cover (Fig. 3-15).
(4)Speedly shift the speed gear
from forward gear to backward gear or
vide versa to let the front end of the shift
rod leave the transmission housing
(Fig.3-16).
(5)Remove the shaft arm (See Fig.
3-17).
(6)Remove the clip ring placed at
the outer end of the rotating rod with a
pair of pliers (SeeFig.3-18).
