Installation
7. The microwave oven must not be placed in a cabinet. The microwave oven is intended
to be used freestanding.
8. There is manufacturing residue or oil remaining in the oven cavity or heat element that
may cause a strange odor or in some cases smoke. This is normal, and will not occur
after several uses. Keep a door or window open to ensure adequate ventilation. It is
strongly recommended to place a cup of water in the cavity, setting at high power and
operating several times.
Cleaning
1. Remove the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not immerse the
appliance in water or other uids when cleaning.
2. Failure to maintain the microwave in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of
the surface that may adversely a󰀨ect the lifespan of the appliance and possibly result
in a hazardous situation.
3. Never use industrial grade detergents, gasoline, abrasive powders or a metal brush to
clean any part of the appliance.
4. Do not remove the waveguide cover.
5. When the microwave oven has been used for an extended period of time, it may
produce strange odors, the following 3 methods may get rid of this smell:
a) Place several lemon slices in a cup, then heat on HIGH power for 2 -3 minutes.
b) Place a cup of red tea in the oven then heat on HIGH power.
c) Place a few orange peels into the microwave and heat on HIGH power for 1
minute.
6. When the product is not in use, it should be placed in dry and well ventilated areas.
CAUTION! The microwave oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits
should be removed.
ATTENTION! How to clean surfaces that have been dirtied by food:
After use, wipe the waveguide cover with a damp cloth. Then, wipe with a dry cloth to
remove any food splashes and grease. Built-up grease may overheat and begin to smoke
or catch re.
Tips for Cleaning (Details for cleaning door seals, cavity and adjacent parts):
Exterior: Wipe the enclosure with a dampened soft cloth.
Door: Using a dampened soft cloth, wipe clean the door and window. Wipe the door seals
and adjacent parts to remove and spill or spatter.
Interior Walls: Wipe clean the interior surfaces with a dampened soft cloth. Wipe clean
the waveguide cover to remove and food splashed.
Turntable/ Rotation Ring/ Rotation Axis: Wash with mild soap water. Rinse with clean
water and allow drying thoroughly.
