Selecting the appropriate temperature
Your HH Simonsen® iron has a fully adjustable tempera
-
ture control ranging from 50-232°C. Your iron has three
preset temperature settings, however you may select other
heat settings within this range. The adjustable settings
allow you to select the temperature that works best for
your individual hair type and condition.
Straightening
1. Wash the hair, dry it and comb through well.
2. Apply HH Simonsen® protection product into the towel
dryed hair. Separate out a section approximately 2 inches
in width. The thinner the section, the more intensive the
straightening
3. Carefully place the section between the heating plates at
the hairline
4. Now draw the straightening iron from the hairline to the
end of the hair. Never rest for more than 2 seconds in
any one place (especially when using the hotter settings)
5. Repeat the process with this section until the desired
effect is achieved
6. Repeat step 3-5 with the remaining sections
7. Switch the straightening iron to the OFF-position and
disconnect them from the power supply when you have
finished the treatment
8. Allow the straightening iron cool down completely before
storing
Creating curls
1. Shampoo and condition hair.
2. Comb hair, apply the HH SIimonsen® styling product of
your choice and dry hair thoroughly
3. Section the hair and begin with a section of hair approx
-
imately 2 cm square in thickness. Tip: The thinner the
section of hair the more intensive & longer lasting the
result
4. Place the straightening iron as close to the roots as
possible and slide through the hair slowly in a downward
motion, simultaneously twisting and turning the iron.
Tip: Do not curl too quickly. Curling each section once
and slowly will give a far better result than curling each
sections quickly multiple times

Cleaning and Care
To your HH Simonsen® product remains in good working
order, clean the appliance regularly. This will remove the
build up of hair products or any other residue that can
eventually coat the heating plates.
Important: Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is
unplugged.
Disposal
Equipment that has come to the end of its service life
should undergo correct disposal in accordance with the
law. Plastics and electronic parts should be submitted
for recycling. Please enquire at your municipal waste
disposal site.
