Chapter 5 Login and Activation
5.1 Access Device via Web Browser
Purpose:
You can get access to the device with a web browser. The recommended web browser includes
Internet Explorer 8 to 11.
Before you start:
 Use a network cable to connect Ethernet port of your computer and the Management LAN of
the device.
 Configure your computer IP address. Ensure it is in the same network segment with the
Management LAN of the device (the default IP address of Management LAN is
10.254.254.254).
Step 1 Enter the device IP address (https://IP Address:2004) in Web browser.
Step 2 Press Enter. Then login interface appears.

5.2 Activate Device
Purpose:
For the first-time access, you need to activate the device by setting an admin password. No
operation is allowed before activation.
Step 1 Access device via web browser.
Step 2 Enter the same password in Password and Confirm Password.
