4. If all the parameters are correct, you will see the device shows online on HikCentral in several
minutes, as well as shows connected in speaker web page – Overview – Server Status (You may
need to logout the speaker web page and log back in to view the latest status).
5. Broadcast group:
You can create a broadcast group on HikCentral to include multiple speakers in the same group
so that the speech or audio files can be broadcasted over multiple speakers at the same time.
For each speaker, volume shall be configured to 80% of the maximum value at least. The volume
defines the volume used for event trigger speaker playing audio files and schedule broadcast.
6. Create Media Library:
In order to play audio files over the speaker, audio files (mp3 or wav format, less than 10MB in
size) shall be uploaded to the media library. Chrome is recommended to use for uploading audio
files as you may encounter issues if using IE.
Live Broadcast via Web Client and Control Client
Live broadcast of speech and audio file is supported on HikCentral web client and control client. For
current version, it requires to run the web client / control client as Windows administrator in order to
broadcast audio files.
