FAQ
1. Live broadcast of audio files on web client and control client requires launching the client as
Windows administrator.
2. If you cannot hear any audio via live broadcast, please make sure the multicast address
0.0.0.0:9999 is configured on IP Speaker web page Sip Setting Monitor.
3. For live broadcast, the volume is controlled by the play volume option on IP Speaker web page
Sip Setting Monitor, and it shall be configured as over 80% of the maximum volume. For event
triggering speaker playing audio file, as well as scheduled broadcast, the volume is controlled by
the volume configured on HikCentral web client Speaker Unit Broadcast Group Speaker
Volume, and it shall be configured as over 80% of the maximum volume.
4. Uploading audio files to HikCentral is recommended to do so on Chrome, as uploading via IE may
result in the page getting stuck in the following loading status.
5. MicroSD card on the speaker supports up to 32GB, and it shall be initialized as FAT32 format.
Otherwise, it may not get identified by the speaker.
6. The audio file is recommended to be the following format: mp3 or wav, 8000HZ sample rate,
mono sound, less than 10MB in file size.
7. Event trigger speaker playing audio and scheduled broadcast requires MicroSD card to be
installed in HikCentral.
8. If WAN access has been enabled on HikCentral, you may get the following downloading failed
error via live audio broadcast. Please contact Hikvision support if you encounter the issue.
