  If your Hisense Dehumidifier isn't turning on, there are several things to check: * Ensure the dehumidifier is turned on. * Verify the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet. * Check your household fuse or circuit breaker and replace or reset if necessary. * Make sure the bucket is correctly installed, fitting all the way into the dehumidifier. * Empty the bucket if it's full. * Confirm the water level float is properly in place inside the bucket. If it still doesn’t operate, call Hisense for Warranty service.

  If your Hisense Dehumidifier is running but not removing moisture, consider the following: First, be aware that all models have an automatic de-icing function that will shut off the compressor and allow the fan to run. When the de-icing function senses the correct operating temperature, the compressor will cycle back on. Also, a dirty filter can cause this issue, so clean the filter. Finally, the compressor of dehumidifier might be in protection mode, so check if there is something blocking the air intake and outlet, or if the ambient temperature is over 90 °F (32.2 °C).
