  If your Hitachi Brush Cutter starts but immediately cuts out, it could be due to a few reasons. The fuel tank might be empty or have low fuel, so fill it with the correct fuel mix (25:1-50:1). The fuel could be old, so replace it with new fuel. Ensure the choke lever is in the RUN position and not START. Check for air in the fuel system and reconnect the fuel pipe or joint if necessary. Clean a dirty air cleaner. Clean carbon clogging (muffler exhaust port). If there is ignition failure, spark plug failure, or electrical system failure, replace with a new spark plug.

It could be due to an empty or low fuel tank, in which case you should fill it with the correct fuel mix (25:1-50:1). The fuel may be old and need replacing. Also, the spark plug may be dirty and require cleaning or replacement, or the electrode gap may be too big and need adjustment to 0.6mm. Check if the fuel filter is clogged with dirt and clean it. Ensure that the fuel pipe is not bent or disconnected, and that fuel flows smoothly. If too much fuel is absorbed and the spark plug is wet, disconnect the spark plug and allow it to dry, pull the starter handle 5 or 6 times to remove the surplus fuel, attach the spark plug, set the choke lever to RUN position and pull the starter handle.
