Removing the Front Case
Remove the six screws @. Then, remove the front
case a little bit in the arrow direction and discon-
nect the connector @). (Fig. 1,7)
Removing the Top Case
After removing front case, pull up the rod an-
tenna, remove the three screws @, open the
cassette lid, and raise the top case to remove.

Removing the CD lid
Push the CD lid to open it. Release the hook from
the CD lid hole using the flat-bladed screwdriver
while pressing the CD lid in the direction of the
arrow. Release the hook on the other side in the
same way. Then, press the hinge in direction Ato
remove the CD lid. (Fig. 2)
Removing the Cassette lid
Open the cassette lid. Press both sides in the
direction of the arrow and remove it in direction
B. (Fig. 3)
Removing the Handle
Raise the handle, disengage the right and left
hooks by screwdriver, etc, and while throwing
the handle in the arrow C direction, remove it in
the arrow D direction. (Fig. 4)
Removing the CD PWB and CD DISPLAY
PWB
Disconnect the connectors ®,©,©,©,@,@ and
@. Remove Unit mecha followed by the four
screws @), two screws @ and finally remove the
CD PWB. (Fig. 5,6,7)
Removing the Cassette Chassis
Remove the four screws © and disconnect
connector ©).(Fig. 5,6)
Removing the M PWB
Remove the four screws ©). (Fig. 5)
Removing the P PWB
Remove the two screws @). (Fig. 7)
Removing the REC Lever
Remove the two screws ©). (Fig. 8)
Removing the Speakers
Remove the front case and then remove the four
screws from each respective speakers. (Fig.
9)
