  • Quick Cooling Corner: Designed for faster cooling of items.
  • Height adjustable upper, middle, and lower shelves: Allow users to customize storage space based on food and beverage sizes.
  • Fixed shelf: A non-adjustable shelf for stable storage.
  • Pockets and Double door pockets: Located on the door for storing bottles and smaller items.
  • Egg stand: Specifically designed for egg storage.
  • Temperature Sensor: Monitors and helps maintain the desired temperature.

Vacuum Compartment (Pg. 40, 46-47): Operating at approximately -1°C to 1°C, this compartment is designed for fresh foods like meat, fish, and seafood. Its key features include:

  • Photocatalyst & LED light: Utilizes LED light and photocatalyst effects to convert odorous substances and ethylene gas into carbon dioxide, restricting enzyme activity and preserving nutrients and freshness.
  • Vacuum Pump: Creates a vacuum state (approx. 0.8 hPa) to restrict oxidation, maintaining freshness and nutrients.
  • Antioxidation Fresh Cassette: Releases antioxidant constituents and hot flavor to further preserve food. This cassette does not require periodic replacement.
  • Vacuum release valve (in blue): Allows for easy release of the vacuum when opening the compartment.
  • Vacuum Case (with an aluminum tray): The main storage unit within the vacuum compartment.

Ice Compartment (Automatic Ice Maker) (Pg. 40, 50-51): This compartment maintains a temperature of approximately -20°C to -18°C and is dedicated to storing ice cubes made by the automatic ice maker. It includes:

  • Water Supply Container: Holds water for ice making (approx. 1.0 L).
  • Ice Case: Stores the automatically made ice cubes.
  • Ice scoop: Provided for convenient ice retrieval.
  • Ice Tray: The component where ice is formed.

Upper/Lower Freezer (Pg. 40, 48-49): Both upper and lower freezer compartments maintain a temperature of approximately -20°C to -18°C, suitable for frozen food, ice cream, and dried food.

  • Upper Freezer case (with an aluminum tray): Can be used as a Quick Freezing Corner for rapid freezing of meat and fish.
  • 3-layer freezer case (Lower Freezer): Provides ample storage space with a Slimline slide case, Slide case, and Lower freezer case, allowing for organized storage of various frozen items.
  • Tall Storage Compartment: Designed for tall items like 2L PET bottles.

Vegetable Compartment (Pg. 40, 52-53): This compartment operates at approximately 3°C to 7°C, ideal for storing vegetables, fruits, and drinks. It is divided into:

  • Upper space: For unfinished vegetables, small vegetables, and fruits.
  • Tall Storage Compartment: For tall vegetables and 2L PET bottles.
  • Aero-care Zone: Specifically designed for leaf vegetables (spinach, Japanese Mustard Spinach, etc.) and large vegetables (cabbage, lettuce), utilizing photocatalyst and LED light to maintain freshness and prevent drying.

Usage Features

Control Panel (Pg. 9, 41): The refrigerator features a glass touch control panel for adjusting settings.

  • Fixing the refrigerator: Adjustable mounts at the front bottom corners help level the refrigerator.
  • Door balance adjustment: If doors are uneven, the adjustable mounts can be rotated to correct the balance.
  • Antioxidation Fresh Cassette: The seal must be peeled off before use to release active ingredients.

  • Automatic ice making: Requires "Ice Maker Cleaning" operation before first use or after long periods of disuse.

Food Storage Guidelines (Pg. 16, 20, 48, 52):

  • Clearance: Maintain space between foods and avoid overstuffing compartments to ensure proper cooling and door closure.
  • Height limits: Do not pile food higher than the storage height limits of each compartment.
  • Vacuum Compartment (Pg. 15, 47): Specific temperature settings (-1°C for meat/fish, +1°C for dairy/vegetables) and packaging recommendations (sealed bags/containers) are provided.
  • Freezer Compartment (Pg. 16, 48): Avoid storing 500ml PET bottles in the slimline slide case as they may expand and get stuck.
  • Vegetable Compartment (Pg. 20, 52): Store low-temperature sensitive vegetables (eggplant, cucumber) in the vegetable compartment, not the vacuum compartment, to prevent damage.

Maintenance Features

The manual provides detailed instructions for regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the refrigerator.

General Cleaning (Pg. 24, 56):

  • Power plug: Clean dust from the power plug once or twice a year to prevent fire hazards.
  • Refrigerator back/floor: Clean once or twice a year to remove dust accumulated from air convection. This involves pulling out the leg cover, floating the adjustable mounts, and drawing the refrigerator straight.
  • Door surface: Wipe with a soft cloth wet with lukewarm water once a month.
  • Shelves/pockets/cases: Wipe with a soft cloth wet with lukewarm water once every three months. Removal instructions are provided for various parts (Pg. 28-29, 60-61).
  • Door gaskets: Wipe thoroughly once a month.
  • Liquid receivers: Wipe off any collected liquid or dirt once a month.
  • Prohibited cleaning agents: Avoid alkaline/alkalescence detergents, plate powder, oil, hot water, scrubbing brushes, acid, benzine, thinner, alcohol, and bleach, as they may damage or discolor parts.

Specialized Compartment Cleaning:

Vacuum Compartment (Pg. 25, 57):

  • Vacuum Case: Pull out the vacuum case and remove the Antioxidation Fresh Cassette for cleaning once a month.
  • Antioxidation Fresh Cassette: Wipe with a firmly wrung wet cloth. Do not rinse with water or smell directly.
  • Vacuum Compartment Gasket: Remove the gasket, rinse with water using a soft sponge (no detergents), dry naturally, and reattach once a month.
  • Glass on ceiling (photocatalyst & LED light): Clean gently with a wet cotton-tipped stick if dirty; avoid touching with fingers or dry cloth.

Ice Maker Cleaning (Pg. 26-27, 58-59):

  • Ice Maker Cleaning operation: Perform for 4 minutes before first use or after a week or more of disuse. This cleans the water supply route.
  • Ice Case: Empty ice, place a clean towel at the bottom to absorb water during cleaning, then wipe off water and reinsert.
  • Water Supply Container: Remove, disassemble (lid, gasket, water filter, case), wash all parts with a soft sponge (no detergents) once a week, dry thoroughly, and reassemble. Replace the water filter every 3-4 years.
  • Ice Tray: Remove, wash lightly under running water (no sponge/cleanser) once or twice a year, and reattach.

Troubleshooting (Pg. 30-33, 62-65): The manual includes a comprehensive troubleshooting section with common issues, their possible causes, and solutions, such as:

  • Refrigerator not cooling well, ice not being made, control panel not responding.
  • Frost/dew formation, abnormal operating sounds, refrigerator becoming hot.
  • Issues with the vacuum compartment (e.g., not vacuumized, handle not locking).
  • Indicator lamp blinking patterns and their meanings.
  • Recommendations for contacting service centers for repairs or part replacements.
