      Your Hitachi Refrigerator may require up to 4 hours to cool properly, or up to 24 hours during the summer. Ensure the freezer and refrigerator compartments are set to level 3. Avoid frequent opening and closing of the door. If the issue persists, try setting the temperature inside the freezer and refrigerator compartments to level 4 or 5. You can also try to change the temperature setting for the refrigerator compartment to level 3 or 2.

      If ice is not being dispensed from your Hitachi Refrigerator: * Check for a gap at the bottom of the Ice Bank; if present, remove the Ice Bank, rotate the “Auger” approximately 90 degrees, and replace the Ice Bank. * Note that the system may temporarily stop for 20 minutes to cool down electrical components; during this time, the "Dispenser - Illumination" will flash. * Remove the Ice Bank, discard any old ice cubes, and make new ones. * Clear any ice that may be blocking the outlet.
