CONDENSER
and
EVAPORATOR
COILS
These
coils
should
be
cleaned
at
the
beginning
of
each
cooling
season.
Use
a
soft
brush
or
vacuum
cleaner
to
clean
them,
making
sure
that
the
CONDENSER
(at
the
rear)
and
the
EVAPORATOR
(in
front)
FINS
are
not damaged.
Before
these
cleaning
works,
turn
off
the
opera-
tion
switch
and
disconnect
power.
When
Asking
for
a
Service,
check
the
following
Points
® When it does not operate
1. Is the fuse all right?
2. Is the voltage extremely high or low?
3. Is the temperature dial suitable?
@ When it does not cool well
1. Does the Air filter remain with dust?
2. Does the sunlight fall directly on the room
air conditioner?
3. Isn’t the air flow of the outside (condenser)
abstructed?
Leave a clearance of 3 feet between the back
of your room air conditioner and the wall or
fence.

windows
open,
or
is
there
any source of heat in the room?
. Is the ventilation damper open?
. Is the temperature dial suitable?

Spiralen
sind
bei
Beginn
der
kalten
Jahreszeit
jedesmal
zu
reinigen.
Benutzen
Sie
zu
ihrer
-Reinigung
eine
weiche
Biirste
oder
einen
Staubsauger,
und
achten
Sie
un-
bedingt
darauf,
da
die
KONDENSATORRIPPEN
(hinten)
und
die
VERDAMPFERRIPPEN
(vorn)
nicht
beschadigt
werden.
Vor
Durchfihrung
dieser
Arbeiten,
den
Netzs-
dialter
abschalten
und
Netzkabel
abtrennen.
