1. Completely Automatic Cooking
The Hitachi Cooker features a high quality thermostat that
assures the most accurate food steaming. The thermostat trig-
gers an automatic magnetic switch that flips the COOK-WARM
switch up to the warm position and allows rice and other foods
to keep warm properly.
2. Chime-O-matic
Hitachi's exclusive cook chime system lets you know, with a
pleasant chiming tone, when the cooker has switched from its
cooking to its warming cycle. That way, you know that 15 mi-
nutes after the chime your rice, for example, will be perfectly
steamed and ready to enjoy
3, Warmer
The Hitachi Cooker switches to warm automatically and will
keep your rice ready to serve for up to five hours without drying
out. Even several hours later, your rice will taste as though it
had just been cooked.
4. Doubles as a Steamer
The Hitachi Cooker is really two appliances in one. When the
steaming plate is inserted into the inner pot, the appliance is
turned into a versatile food steamer. It can do everything from
reheating boiled rice to steaming fresh or frozen vegetables.
