Precautions for Operations
y Investigate the work site before starting operations.
x Be sure to wear close fitting clothing and safety
equipment appropriate for the job, such as a hard hat,
etc. when operating the machine.
x Clear all persons and obstacles from the area of operation
and machine movement. Do not permit persons
other than the operator to enter areas where there is
danger such as flying objects. Always beware of the
surroundings while operating. When working in a small
area surrounded by obstacles, take care not to hit the
upperstructure against obstacles.
x When loading onto trucks, bring the bucket over the truck
beds from the rear side. Take care not to swing the bucket
over the cab or over any person.
