supply cord. Make sure that only original parts or
components are used.
- Read carefully all the instructions before
assembling the appliance. The assembling
sequence must be strictly respected.
- Do not try to repair the winding-on spool yourself.
Make sure it is repaired by a competent qualified
technician.
- This appliance is exclusively for domestic use. Any
other use must be considered improper and
therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be
held responsible for any injuries or damage
resulting from improper use.
- Keep hair, clothes, fingers, etc. away from the
appliance’s openings and moving parts, in order to
avoid overheating, damages, electrical shock or fire
hazard.
- To avoid fire accidents or electrical shocks, make
sure that no fluids enter in contact with the electrical
parts of the appliance or in contact with the supply
cord. Do not expose the appliance to humidity, do
not use it outdoors and keep it away from any
objects filled with fluids, such as washbasins,
vases, flowerpots, etc. If any fluid accidentally spills
on the appliance or enters into its casing, remove

the plug from the power socket and go to the store
where the appliance was bought or get it repaired
by a qualified technician.
- Periodically check the supply cord for any
damages. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a
similar qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
- Do not place any objects over the supply cord,
never crease or crimp it, and make sure to keep it
away from cutting edges, hot surfaces and away
from places where a person can trip over it, in order
to avoid drops. Never leave the supply cord hanging
where children could grab it.
- Always hold the plug to disconnect it from the wall
socket and not by the supply cord.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the supply
cord. Make sure the supply cord doesn’t get caught
in any way and do not wind it around the appliance.
- Never use the appliance near hot surfaces or heat
sources.
- This appliance is not a toy; it is not supposed to be
sat on.
- After use and before carrying out any cleaning
operation, storage, repair or change any
accessories, make sure that the appliance is
disconnected from the wall socket.
