- Never vacuum matches, pointed objects, glass or
metal splinters, cigarettes butts or other glowing
objects until they are completely cold. Do not use it
on wet surfaces or surfaces covered with cement,
plastic, stone dust or flour. Never vacuum
substances that are too fine, inflammables or even
toxic when inhaled and never vacuum water or any
other liquid.
Note: vacuuming incandescent objects may set on
fire the appliance. Vacuuming liquids may cause a
short circuit.
- Vacuuming fine dust may cause the pores of the
filters to become clogged. This will obstruct the
passage of air through the filters. If this happens,
the filters must be cleaned or replaced, if necessary.
- Do not block the air passages and do not use the
appliance if any of these passages is clogged. If this
happens, unplug the appliance and remove the
object or dirt that is blocking it, to avoid damages to
the appliance or accidents.
- During operation, make sure not to point the
appliance at people or animals, and especially stay
clear of eyes and ears.
- Make sure that the dust container and filters are
correctly placed and in good conditions before start
to use the appliance.

- When the dust container is full, it should be
cleaned to avoid the appliance overheating.
- To avoid damage, never use the appliance without
the filters duly placed.
- If you give way this appliance to someone, be sure
that you also give the instruction manual.
- On certain occasions it is possible that a sound
resembling a “whistling” be heard during the
operation of the appliance. This will cease after a
short period and does not indicate any default.
- This appliance is equipped with an automatic
thermal shutoff system which automatically
switches off the appliance in the event of
overheating. If the appliance stops functioning,
disconnect it on the on/off button and from the wall
socket. Make sure if the dust container is full or if
there are blockages in air passages. If one of these
situations happens, clean the appliance and wait
about 30 minutes for it to cool down before
switching it on again.
