Check that the air hose is securely plugged into the outlet on
the device, or that there is no dirt between the air tube plug and
the outlet on the unit that could cause the air to leak.
The cuff is applied to the clothing and not directly to the skin.
The cuff is incorrectly attached or not sufficiently tightened with
velcro.
The user moved the arm during the measurement.
The inflation pressure is not higher than the systolic pressure.
Check the air tube or cuff for damage.
