ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE
• After a few seconds, the ready to use indicator light (F) turns on to
indicate that the preheating period is complete.
• Turn the function selector button (D) to the left to start the pump, in the
direction of the “ ” symbol. Hot water ows through the portalter (G)
into the cup.
• After a few seconds, when you consider that all parts are preheated,
turn the function selector button (D) to the right, to the “Off” position to
stop the water ow.
Making an espresso
• After preheating the appliance, according to the instructions described
above, remove the portalter (G) by turning it clockwise, push the lter
locking bar (H) upwards to block the lter so that it does not come
loose and pour any water still accumulated inside by shaking it over
the sink.
• Add the coffee.
 Note: 1 measuring spoon (P) of ground coffee allows you to prepare 1
cup of coffee.
• If you have used ground coffee, press the coffee with the tamper of the
measuring spoon (P), which will provide the formation of coffee foam
when extracting the coffee.
• Wipe off any coffee residue that has accumulated on the rim of the
portalter (G) so that it seals completely when tting and push down
the lter locking bar (H).
• Align the portalter (G), with the handle facing left, with the hot water
outlet, in the “Insert” position and turn it counter-clockwise to “Lock”
position.
• Place 1 or 2 cups on the cup tray (K) so that they are centred with the
water / coffee outlet.
• Turn the function selector button (D) to the left to start the pump in the
direction of the “ ” symbol. Hot coffee ows through the outlets on the
portalter (G) into the cup.
• To stop the coffee ow, turn the function selector button (D) to the right,
to the “ ” (off) position.
• WARNING: Do not leave the coffee machine unattended when preparing
coffee.
• After nishing the coffee preparation, remove the portalter (G) by
turning it clockwise to the left.
