6. Maintanance
6.1. Battery replacement
To avoid electric shock or injury caused by an incorrect reading, replace the battery immediately when the instrument display shows
the „
”. Before opening the battery cover and replacing the batteries, it is necessary to switch off and check whether the testers
have been disconnected from the circuit being measured.
Replace the battery according to the following steps:
1. Disconnect the power supply to the instrument.
2. Pull all test plugs out of the input socket.
3. Loosen the screws securing the battery cover.
4. Remove battery cover.
5. Remove old battery.
6. Replace with a new AAA 2 x 1.5 V battery.
7. Place the battery cover and tighten the screws.
6.2. Fuse replacement
1. Replace tester probes and turn off multimeter
2. Use screwdriver to open back cover and take out broken fuse
3. Replace fuse and screw back plate on place.
6.3. Maintanance
To clean device use soft cloth. Do not use solvents nor abrasives which could cause corrosion or damage of body.
