210 Vehicle care
Warning
Failure to position the jack as
described could cause the
vehicle to slip off the jack.
Do not get under a vehicle that is
supported by a jack. No person
should place any portion of their
body under a vehicle that is
supported by a jack.
24. Remove the wheel nuts and
wheel.
25. Remove any dirt or rust from the
wheel nuts and studs, mounting
surfaces and spare wheel.
26. Place the spare wheel on the
wheel mounting surface.
27. Replace the wheel nuts by hand
and lightly tighten with a wheel
wrench.
28. Turn the jack handle anti-
clockwise to lower the vehicle.
29. Remove the jack and wheel
wrench.

30. Tighten the nuts rmly with the
wrench in the pattern shown.
The required torque is 140 Nm
(Newton metres).
