Function Description
The dehumidifier is designed to remove unwanted moisture from the air, creating a more comfortable environment in homes or offices. It utilizes refrigeration technology to powerfully decrease the humidity level of a room, keeping the indoor air dry and comfortable. The unit is portable and can be easily moved from room to room.
Important Technical Specifications
The manual lists two models: D015R2A-10L and D015R2A-12L.
- Power Supply: Both models operate on 220V-240V ~ 50Hz.
- Refrigerant/Charge:
- D015R2A-10L uses R290/45g.
- D015R2A-12L uses R290/50g.
- Dehumidification Capacity: Rated at a room temperature of 30°C with a relative humidity of 80%.
- Operational Temperature Range: 7°C to 35°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 80%. The unit will not operate normally if the room temperature is outside this range.
- GWP Value of R290 Refrigerant: 3.
Usage Features
The dehumidifier offers several user-friendly features:
- Powerful Dehumidifying Capability: Effectively reduces room humidity using refrigeration technology.
- Lightweight Portable Design: Compact and lightweight with casters on the bottom for easy movement.
- Low Temperature Operation with Automatic Defrost:
- When running in a room temperature between 5°C and 12°C, the unit will stop to defrost every 30 minutes.
- When running in a room temperature between 12°C and 20°C, the unit will stop to defrost every 45 minutes.
- Adjustable Humidistat: Allows users to adjust the desired humidity level.
- Timer On/Off: Enables programming the unit to turn on and off automatically.
- Quiet Operation: Operates with a low noise level.
- Energy Efficient: Low power consumption.
Operating Instructions:
The control panel features LED indicators for:
- POWER
- CHILD LOCK
- UP/DOWN
- TIMER/HUMIDITY DISPLAY
- TIMER/HUMIDISTAT SETTING
- FAN SPEED (LOW/HI)
And a 2-digit display for Humidity Level & Timer.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button once to start, and again to stop. The power indicator light turns on when plugged in.
- Fan Speed: Press the fan speed button to adjust between high and low speeds.
- Humidity Level Setting: Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired humidity level from 40% to 80% in 5% intervals. Dehumidification stops when the environment humidity is 2% lower than the selected level and restarts when it is 2% higher, after a 3-minute compressor protection time.
- Timer Setting:
- Auto-shut off timer (unit operating): Press the timer button and use UP/DOWN to set the power-off time.
- Auto-start timer (unit in standby): Press the timer button and use UP/DOWN to set the power-on time.
- The timer can be set from 1 to 24 hours. To cancel, set the time to 00.
- CHILD LOCK: Activate by pressing the CHILD LOCK button for more than 5 seconds. The lamp will light up, and all buttons will be locked. To cancel, press the button for more than 5 seconds until the lamp turns off.
Draining Collected Water:
When the drainage tank is full, the tank full indicator light will turn on, the unit will stop, and a buzzer will beep 15 times.
- To empty, gently press the sides of the tank with both hands and pull it out.
- Discard the collected water.
- Note: Do not remove the float from the water tank, as it is crucial for proper water level detection. Clean the tank with cold or lukewarm water, avoiding harsh chemicals. Ensure the tank is firmly in place when reinserting to prevent the "TANK FULL" sensor from activating incorrectly.
- Continuous Water Drainage: The unit has a continuous drainage port. A plastic pipe (10mm inner diameter) can be inserted into the drain hole on the intermediate plate, allowing for continuous drainage.
Maintenance Features

Cleaning the Dehumidifier Body: Wipe with a soft damp cloth.

Cleaning the Air Filter:
- Open the inlet grill and remove the air filter.
- Lightly run a vacuum cleaner over the filter to remove dirt.
- If exceptionally dirty, wash with warm water and a mild cleanser, then dry thoroughly.
- Insert the filter back into the grill smoothly, and place the inlet grill into the right place.

Storing the Dehumidifier: For long-term storage:
- Empty any water from the drainage tank.
- Fold up the power supply cord and place it in the water tank.
- Clean the air filter.
- Store in a cool and dry place.

Clearance: Maintain a minimum clearance of 20 cm around the dehumidifier during operation to ensure proper air circulation.
Safety Warnings and Maintenance Work Notes:
The manual includes extensive safety warnings and detailed notes for maintenance work, particularly concerning flammable refrigerants (R290). These cover:
- General safety precautions (unplugging, indoor use only, avoiding heat sources, not inserting objects, proper water disposal, avoiding closed areas, not using near edible items).
