Troubleshooting
Review the following pages before calling for service.
Problem

The timer knob
does not turn.

• The power cord is not properly
inserted.
• The door is not closed.
• The power cord is not properly
inserted.
• Receptacle does not have power.
• The timer is incorrectly set on cold
air.
• The front and back filters are
clogged.
• Too much laundry in the dryer.
• Items have been added whilst the
dryer is in operation.
• Laundry has become twisted whilst
drying.
• The dryer is in a small location with
poor ventilation.
• The dryer is set on ‘Anti-wrinkle’.
• There is a power failure.
• The power cord is not inserted firmly.
• The door is not closed.
• The timer is in the ‘OFF’ position.
• Ensure the power cord is
firmly inserted.
• Close the door.
• Insert the power cord firmly.
• Check the power cord
receptacle.
• Set the timer to hot air.
• Clean the filter.
• Reduce the amount in the
dryer.
• Dry the items again.
• Untwist items and dry them
again.
• Place the dryer in a well-
ventilated area.
• Use the ‘Warm or ‘Hot’
setting.
• Ensure there is power, then
try again.
• Insert the power cord firmly.
• Close the door.
• Set the dry time.
