♦ When the refrigerator starts, the sound is loud
1. Ensure the refrigerator is on a flat surface.
2. Check the surrounding objects for vibration.
3. When the compressor starts, it may initially produce a slightly louder sound as the
motor transitions from static to high speed. However, as the speed stabilises, the
sound should decrease. This is a normal occurrence and nothing to be concerned
about.
♦ There are water drops around the shell or door seal
It is normal for moisture in humid air to condense into water droplets when touching
cold surfaces. This is known as condensation and is a natural occurrence.
